Schedule Or Daily Uploads?

I try to be at a video per day (was going nearly 2 per day for a short while, phew!), though I'm mostly doing 6 days a week.
I make liberal use of scheduled uploading since I have limited time available to work on videos. I record a game in a longer session and then edit that into several episodes which I schedule on YouTube for up to two weeks out (following a set schedule for each series). The next time I have a chance I then work on a different game series. That way I keep up with daily videos with only a few days per week to work on them.
I've used scheduled uploading a few times, I might start using it more :)

Well if ya can make quality fun epic content AND if ya have time everyday then yu can try too xD But i would do like to do 2 uploads a week or maybe more xD Doing daily uploads my yt will be spammed xD Wich makes it more likely for pples NOT to watch your vids bcoz its too much xD

As a gaming channel, I upload everyday, but when I get back to work, I can't do that anymore.
But gaming channels should upload often!

I'm not sure why some of you think one video per day is "spamming". Given the number of channels (I assume) most users subscribe to I doubt if 1 video per day is enough to even have something of mine show up on the first page of the typical person's subscription feed for more than an hour or two each day.
If I could manage it I would probably go to 2 videos per day, and if I ever get to the point of "full-time" I'd be pretty quickly looking at if I could manage even more than that.

Vlogging shouldn't be done every day, that's true, but for something like gaming, I prefer seeing a video every day, but then I was thinking I cut back and only go to every day if (really big if) I ever get to the stage it could be full time.

I agree. Vlogging is a different animal entirely. I'd say 3 videos a week would suffice!

At the moment I am working on trying to just get a video up every day, and sometimes it is no problem, and rather easy to do, but occasionally I get overwhelmed with other things, and it is really difficult and laborious to make and upload a new video in a day, so I was thinking of changing to a 4 day week schedule, at least for the moment anyway. Do you think that this would be a better idea, or would it hinder the growth/view count on my channel?
I think it would be a better idea, honestly.

It gives your other videos time to accrue views.
For me, personally, I don't get viewers that come in everyday (I tried going daily once), so having it spread out so people see the content is less stressful for me :P

I don't have a schedule or upload daily, I think the best videos come when they're not rushed so I post a video when I feel I have a decent video now, thats what I have learnt.

I upload everyday with a gaming channel. I have been slowly gaining some followers so its not that bad to upload daily. But I dont record everyday and upload everyday. i will record for a few hours one day, split it into multiple episodes, then upload them all and schedual them at different times

I generally get to record every night, and I usually record an hour or so. I usually make my vids about 15- 20 minutes, so that's 3-4 vids per recording session. I don't like just uploading them in bulk so I usually upload maybe 2-3 a day, depending on how big my backlog is. If I'm able to consistently record more videos than I upload, then I'm able to get a good schedule where I'm usually about a few days to a week ahead of my uploads and don't need to worry about uploading something new if I get sick or something.

I think one a day is too much. I do two a week and that is tough for me! I think if you do less you will be more successful because uploading videos so often is almost annoying.
