Scared Of Ideas Being Stolen?

This might sound weird... but i have had ideas and i haven't make videos for it, and after some months some youtuber (big youtuber) uploaded a video very similar to my idea.

This had happened to me a lot of times... I should start making videos for my ideas hahaha

Haha XD Yeah, I have a list of about 30 ideas in my notebook but I haven't gotten round to actually making any of them, I should try my best to get them done as should you!

I doubt if anyone is dumb enough to attempt one of our ideas. If they do, they better have health insurance.

Is anybody scared of sharing ideas on sites like this because you're worried somebody might take your idea?

I feel like we all have a common goal. We should all help each other and support. I wouldn't worry about your stuff being stolen

Nah my videos aren't steal worthy, and you can take inspiration from someone's video and put your own spin on it and that's not really stealing unless it's word for word

this has never crossed my mind, why? because i dont leave the idea in my head, i actually make it, if you have an idea and dont do it, they didnt steal your idea, they made it a reality, without you.

If you value your intellectual property, you will safeguard it.
You should be careful in who you choose to help brainstorm your content.

If you tell em you're planning to make it and then they do it before you, that's stealing I just get paranoid about things and who to share my original ideas with

I feel like it is very difficult to have a truly original idea. Somewhere, some place, someone is probably thinking very similarly to you. And there's no reason there can't be two videos with the same idea.

What you would be better off concerning yourself with is the execution. I imagine that to succeed you need to strive to be unique, and if you aim for uniqueness, then the two videos will turn out very different indeed.
