Samson Go Mic and Behringer C-1U Comparison

GO MIC IS SMALL, SOUNDS GOOD AND CHEAP AND VERY PORTABLE :D thats what i wanted to say and i still use it... and is metal so if it falls, it wont break :)
Thanks man ! I'll consider it .
Ye , the Go Mic is small and looks really cool .
I'm gonna check your video .

The AT2020 shouldn't be 150 Euro... I know their USB version is much more expensive than XLR but if you're already using a mixing board, there's no need for a USB mic. The 2020 is usually in the 100 range.

I recently bought the Samson Go Mic and I use it on all my videos. Since my viewers / listeners are not native English speakers and they are watching / listening to improve their English, audio quality on my videos is really important for me.

I use it on the 10db setting which is designed for 1 person, close-to-microphone commentary and there is hardly no background noise at all. You just have to be careful of popping though - I position the mic so it isn't right in front of my mouth which works well, but you might need a pop filter. I use audacity to filter out the minute level of background noise and since there is so little, there is no distortion of the voice quality after running the filter.

On the omni and uni-directional settings, it is quite sensitive and it does pick up the noise of my PC's fan which is a quiet fan to the human ear. If you were to use these settings you would need to move your PC away a bit from the mic IMO.

For the price, it's a great mic.

Yep. About a hand width distance from your mouth and 45 degrees to either side (ie. pointed at your cheek) is ideal. Most people don't know how to work a mic, which is why pop filters are so popular.

Haters gonna hate ;)

The AT2020 looks and sounds pretty nice, so it would be a step down, Tarmack is sensible saying you should probably go cheap just to have a mic until you can pay for a good one.
may be you are right, i found a dre beats headphones store online drebeatshome.com.
