Russian dislikers and hate comments

PinProject

I Love YTtalk
Jeeeze I've been doing this for 1.5 years and haven't received hate or mean comments as much as I did from posting in vk.com For those of you who don't know its a social media site very similar to facebook but it's 95% russian. The video I posted was in english obviously but people were just brutal with the comments which don't even make sense!

anyone had a similar situation with that website?

HAHAHAHA vk.com I haven't used that site in years.

I would guess either that the language barrier was an issue or that people did not like your video.

Also in Russia we all like to complain about something. No matter what it is. I mean someone could have everything he/she could ever want but would still find something to complain.

It's normal, and if there is a language barrier you should really consider subtitling your videos or find someone that speaks the language to dub over before posting on a site that's main language not your own.

Well I haven't promoted on vk.com yet, but if I'm gonna get a bunch of dislikes and hate comments because I don't know Russian and there's a language barrier, that might be a site I'd just steer clear from.

I remember seeing a thread posted about that website not too long ago and was interested to try it out. It sounds pretty damn brutal though from what you've said so I might not haha

It's not that bad promise.
I used to post animations on there and I got a lot of praise.

Just find someone to subtitle your videos. It's not that hard and even some people will do it for free or a shoutout.

Hmm... I haven't posted on VK.com, but my analytics say I've had a lot of views from there. I've only had nice positive comments from Russian people, and they all seemed to have watched the whole video -- but a lot of my videos are instrumentals and have no English....Maybe it really was a language barrier thing? Or maybe it was just bad luck with the video you posted? =(

Ah yes. Well if it makes you feel any better, I have Russian in me and I don't downvote EVERYTHING I see within seconds.

>Implying that every full blooded Russian downvotes everything

>I am full blooded Russian

>I want to downvote your comment

I guess I can actually see your point

Well I mean to some extent I was kidding, but hey. Do what you gotta do man. As long as you don't bring out the vodka blooded bears on unicycles I don't think we will have a problem. :P

I have similar experience with Russians in CSGO. Does it count?
