Rubbish videos doing better then yours?

They could have their own way to getting their videos around. Like maybe they show all theyre friends and the chain keeps going? They could also be paying money from their pocket to advertise some of their videos. Or they just got a random run of luck.lol.

Bit harsh to judge a video on its editing quality most of my video's are trimmed down but I don't go into perfection levels of detail on them.

It is quite annoying
People like the Yogscast have like full production studios and put lots of effort into most of their videos, But then people like pewdiepie who don't put in half as much effort and money, yet have like x2 the subs!
I think that both Yogscast and Piediepie put a lot of effort into their videos. I don't think money is a factor in how many views you get, it's the personality that counts and how you connect with your viewers![DOUBLEPOST=1368415514,1368415405][/DOUBLEPOST]
I dont think taking a break is a good idea. If you are getting a daily subscribe rate then you are doing much better than others. I dont even get a weekly sub rate and I have hd video write scripts and pay for props. Growth comes in time. Those who have done youtube for years didnt see good growth when they started either. Alot of us get caught up in what others are doing that we lose focus and passion in our own work. I used to be this way thinking that I could get as much growth as Jenna Marbles did in her first year. Again thats her this is me.. Trust me just stay focused and work on your content growth will always be there. A little advertising never hurts also. :)
Good advise that is what I keep telling myself as well! If you work hard you'll see results no matter what!

Just took a look at your videos, they are definitely well put together and very indepth. But that might be what's wrong with them too. I find there's people out there that are looking for indepth reviews and I know for myself I like to read articles more than watch a video for a review (for photography equipment specifically). For unboxing stuff people probably want to just see huge reactions, and shots of what's in the box within the first 10 seconds of the video.

If that's what you are competing against, that might be why they have such large view numbers even though it's crappy raw video. It's like you said, I think unboxing viewers want that feeling of unboxing too. And for more indepth production reviews, gimmicky things get more views like, "Will it Blend?" or "How to repair an iPhone 5" etc...
