OK ThanksI use the old roxio but it the quality works fine for me![]()
It Will Be My First DeviceI use the Elgato, if you can wait, I'd save the money to invest in that. Are you using anything at the moment to capture gameplay or will this be your first device?
I bought a Roxio ages ago to record PS3 Gameplay, and if it's rendered properly it can actually look really goodSo, It's really up to user opinion c;
If it's your first device, I would suggest the Roxio. Then, If your channel starts growing you can upgrade to a HD PVR or ElgatoI Want To Buy Roxio Because It Is Cheaper But I Am Not Sure About The quality Some People Say Yes Some People Say No I Dont Know What To Do
If I Uplode Bad quality Videos It Wont Grow Up :/If it's your first device, I would suggest the Roxio. Then, If your channel starts growing you can upgrade to a HD PVR or Elgato![]()
Ok Thanks I Will Try To But Elgato And If I Could Not I Will but Roxio :/ Thanks AgainThere are plenty of YT videos that show the comparisons between Roxio and Elgato. I watched some when I was making my decision. I ended up going with the Elgato because of its greater compatibility with Mac plus the software it comes with and the ability to also work with EyeTV. All I got from the Roxio was that it was cheaper. From the videos I saw, the Elgato was much better quality. It takes too much tweaking in post-rendering to make the Roxio captures look as good as Elgato's.
I'm not trying to tell you how to spend your money, or discuss your ability to get more or anything like that, BUT, when it comes to investing in something like this, I'd put my best foot forward from the start. The HDPVR-2 and the Elgato are probably the best on market. You're talking about a $30-40 difference depending on where you buy (amazon still has the best price on either). Why not, scrap up just a bit more and get the best? It's ultimately is up to you, but if your big hangup is quality then it shouldn't be a questions: go for the best quality.
