Review film/animation channel

Your art and videos are OKAY. They are okay for your age, but since the majority of viewers want something that is more than just okay, it is not something that I would say will appeal to many people. I, for example, watch a video because it is funny, informative, awesome or just obscure. Most popular videos seem to fit into one or more of these categories. In my humble opinion, your material does not sit in any of them. Your fight scene is probably the best on the channel, but it just looks badly acted, the editing isn't great and the camera-work leaves a lot to be desired. I understand that you are young and are just starting out, but the average viewer does not care if you are 10, 20 or even 40 years old. People do not watch content out of pity for the young creators, they watch a video because it is a good video and has high production value.

Your art, as I said is okay. It is a little mediocre though, and for a channel that claims to be about film and animation, it is neither "wow this is absolutely awesome" nor creative and arty. I assume that you have not been doing this sort of thing for very long, and I congratulate you with what you have done - I just don't think that it has what it takes to be a popular video or channel.

If I were you, I would focus on learning the skills of film-making, editing, animation and visual effects, and then apply them to the videos that you make. Don't let anyone tell you that because you use Blender rather than Maya or anything like that, you are inferior as an artist either! While I certainly agree that programs like Maya, Premiere Pro/Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve give you far more control and allow you to produce far more creative and better looking results, you should only be limited by your creativity, not by the software or equipment that you use! I think it is important for anyone who is interested in this field to learn the technical skills required and to develop their creative mind, before making a video and expecting it to be popular. Just to clarify, I am not saying that you should not make videos if you enjoy it, I am just saying not to expect much of them until you have learnt more.

If I can help you in any way with learning anything, or you want more advice, feel free to reply here or PM me!

Keep up the good work and you will improve quickly - I am sure of it!

I think your channel art can be a lot better. I would recommend using Photoshop. Download some text styles and try using a strong high resolution for your background. If you need more assistance or if you want me to make one for you let me know. Skype: Glasslogos

that Rubiks cube animation is a nice idea, I like how you show how to do it. Just keep practicing, and I suggest continuing the 'how I did it' section of your animations, cause that's a nice touch that not many other animators do enough.

Your logo is okay, It seems like its a little low in the frame rate, so either speeding it up a little, or remaking it in blender and trying some new effects would work well.

Keep it up! :) more film and animation is what I like to see!
