Revenue share?

Hey I am partnered on a revenue share contract and I am just wondering would I have been better off going with a cpm contract instead? I am a small youtuber and don't even have 200 subs yet lol. My aim is to do this for a living eventually (well I hope I could). Is that possible on a revenue share contract?

You get apercentage of revenue gained from your gross revenue earned. You gain cpc every time a ad is clicked. Cpm every thousand times its been watched.

oh ok but does that still apply to me as I don't get money from cpm only revenue from ads placed. sorry im still confused
 
Every network should be paying cpc and cpm you might have a fixed cpm that doesnt change value or a flex one which does change. What network are you in and contract length ask your network for cpc or cpm info every network is diffrent.

I'm with machinima. I asked about cpm and was told they no longer offer cpm contracts and that I get revenue share on adverts placed on my videos instead. I am tied to them for 3 years. I am starting to think I made a mistake signing it :/.

Ouch yea i heard there revenue share was garbage but wow so they only pay you when you get cpc's
