Revenue Help!

So, i need an explanation on how to gain revenue.
I have activated monitization on all my videos but when i check my analytics i have gained 0.00 pounds...
Is there a specific number of subs you need to start earning money?

Ads aren't shown every time a video is played, when an ad is shown, you only get paid if someone clicks on it or watches it for more than 30 seconds, and, even if all of the previous happens, you only earn a few cents.

Adding to that, newer channels (and videos) typically earn below average since they don't have the audience or retention preferred.

Analytics is also typically 1-4 days behind, so if you monetized them all today, you won't see anything just yet anyway.

Lastly, with under 800 total views, don't expect to see much, if anything, for a while.

In the meantime, continue to build up your channel and make sure the tags and descriptions are accurate.

Okay this helped alot! I am currently just under 800 views with 780 so i hope
to see an increase soon

I broke 1k views last week but unfortunately you have to have a LOT of money in the backlog to withdraw anything from AdSense. Like $100 or something.

$1 per 1000 views seems about right.
We are nearing 500k views and just jumped above $400 earnings.

If you are looking at your earnings with only 800 views you may be disappointed - YT is very competitive - earning $$$ is very hard.

Be a Youtuber because you enjoy it, have fun with it.
Good luck to you :)

Dont get your hopes up, even if you start to earn something, ADsense will decide to disable your account saying, invalid activity, because others clicked your ads and is ilegall. I just got my account disabled because someone clicked my ads in a suspicious way. Legit reason.
So again dont get your hopes up.

Nope, I monetized from day one with 0 subscribers. Not because I wanted the money, but because of principle. If I create content and draw people to the site I should be compensated for it. Now, I started earning cents per day, nothing much, but still cents.

It might just be that at this point in time your views don't have ads on them yet. You also need to make sure your video has that green $ sign next to it before putting it live. I leave my videos private till the monetization icon turns green. That way my first views have a chance of being monetized. Nowadays my video is approved almost instantly, and I am waiting for the video to go trough processing. I don't put live videos at SD quality. I put them live as soon as I see that HD icon next to them.
