So, i need an explanation on how to gain revenue.
I have activated monitization on all my videos but when i check my analytics i have gained 0.00 pounds...
Is there a specific number of subs you need to start earning money?

I'm not too sure about the specifics since I haven't done much research into it but from my understanding you need to breach a certain threshold/number of views in a certain period of time.

From my understanding. Your income is based on CPM (Clicks Per Milestone) and that is averaged in per 1,000 views. It takes a lot of views to make money. I have like $0.33 earned in two or so months.

You don't have a minimum number of subs you need. If monetization is activated on your videos you should start making money at a rough average of $1 per 1000 views.

You probably just haven't gained enough views per video to gain any earnings quite yet. Give it a little bit of time, and you'll start to see something show up in your analytics.

Also a lot of views people use adblocker so they dont even count, I dont know how that factors into the $1 per 1000 theory but I remember some youtubers complaining about it

The $1 in 1000 is very rough, in extreme cases or very small view numbers this can even be between $0.1 and $10...

Also I heard that people watching from a phone or mobile device do not contribute to your ad revenue- which is pretty rubbish when you think how many people do this!

They do but I think they get different ads which have different CPM. I get pre-video ads when I watch videos from my phone.

Hmm, well I've just tried to find something to back up what I heard and I cannot find anywhere official it tells you that mobile views do not contribute towards revenue, so it may well just be an untrue rumour!
