It makes sense as to why the subscriber count would go down, although if you're unfollowing someone purely because they're no longer "on the market", that's just petty and idiotic.
My channel doesn't centre around my personal life as that's not the genre I go into. I plan on releasing sporadic video blogs here and there so my viewers can get to know me a little better, but they don't need to know each and every little detail because it simply doesn't matter.
Who I'm bangin' or not bangin' is very unlikely to impact on the kind of content that I make, so I wouldn't feel the need to make a video on the matter. If people ask me, I'll just say so.
