Requirements to get 301+ views?

Just curious, but does anyone know what the requirements are nowadays for a video to freeze at 301+ views? Before, you just had to hit it under 24 hours. But our last couple videos we've posted have gotten over 301 views in the first day and they just past over 301+. Just curious to see if someone knew the exact requirements (i.e. you have to get over 301 views in three hours).

I think those videos have to get enough views in a short period of time to let youtube think theyre botted.

i dont think that this is the case if you just got over 301 views. i dont know exactly what how many you require but im quite sure you need THOUSANDS of views in a short time period. :)

Well, there can be multiple reasons for it to be stuck at 301. The most common, in my experience, is that if not all of your view count as "real views", then it will freeze.

I have multiple times tried being stuck at 301, but then you can always check up on the "real views" process in your analytics. The view count in there is your "real views" ;)

Hope it helped ;) If not, sorry for wasting your time.

Yeah. We've had views freeze in the past before, which is why I'm asking. But lately I've just noticed that it's not happening even though we've gotten the same amount of views within the same amount of time (in fact, we've been getting even more lately). So YouTube must be increasing what it takes to get the video to freeze. Just wanted to know if there was a specific number or something you had to hit in a certain time :D

Hmmm I thought it would get stuck at 301+ right away? Someone said recently their video was stuck at 301+ in just under 12 minutes.
