Rendering sucks

Rendering is always terribly slow.. I think it's actually made worse by the fact you're anxious to see the rendered file and get it up online.

Gotta say though, I use adobe premiere and today exported a 25 minute long video in 720p in less than 15 minutes. That's with no video fx though, just audio fx.

So is adobe premiere faster than vegas? It may be worth the switch!

yeah i rendered a video of 20 mins and it took me 2 hours and 19 mins , but i didn't really use any effects , just added facecam

Yeah rendering takes a while. Especially if you've got effects. I don't remember seeing a difference in rendering time between Vegas and Premiere. It all depends on your content and the output settings. But you shouldn't compromise your render quality just because you want to upload quicker.
