Relaunching as filmmaking channel?

21 battery packs! that's insane! :D I will definitely look into some audio gear now, thank you so much! Dude you've helped me loads, I'm subscribing to your channel so I can see more of your videos! Thanks a ton!
Ha thanks! Yea you're looking at a bit of money for audio gear, best way to start would be to get a second hand Tascam with XLR input or a second hand Zoom H4N. With that, you've got a solid base and you can record audio with them until you get an external mic.

Thanks! out of those two which would you say I should root towards?

They're both pretty equal tbh, depends what deals you can find really! The Tascams are a bit cheaper than the Zooms and they're just as good.
Thank you! and then I'm guessing you just record when you film and sync the audio up?

Yep, you'd use a clapperboard for a film, for a vlog type thing, you just need something on screen that you can match the audio to. A clap works well.
Awesome! Luckily I have one :D Also I want to start making videos using vfx and mostly focusing on that. Some of my biggest inspirations are CorridorDigital and RocketJump would a gopro come in handy at all? If I were to attach it to a boom pole to get high shots?

GoPro attached to a pole (even if it has a gimbal) is how they did that "GTA In Real Life" video I believe!
The fish eye lens is a bit annoying and people will be able to tell if its a gopro quite easily. Audio gear should be top priority, then the stuff I mentioned first and then maybe a gopro x)

Thanks so much dude, I'm currently looking to get a better lens but as soon as I have that then the audio gear will be next on my list!
