They aren't there for me. Related channels are customized for each user and based on your watch history.

Yeah, I have usually already subbed to half of them on there, and I often get smaller channels as well. I don't think it's a conspiracy against the little guys.

People such as big music artists probably/mostly get their agents and stuff to pay to be there all the time
