Reddit ads

Hi!

So recently I've decided to try Reddit advertisement and... my results sucks.

I spent $15 and get only 79 clicks. Which gives me CPC (Cost Per Click) around $0.19. It's poor as hell!

I know I could do better on targeting and preparing my headline, but it's still very bad in my opinion.

So do you have any experiences in Reddit advertisement? If so then please feel free to share it

I've told people before: Reddit is BAD for "advertisement". It's great for community and getting some notice through that, but Redditors are not the kind of people to click on ads.

I deleted my account recently, it was over eight years old and I was in the CenturyClub (meaning over 100,000 karma), so I know Reddit pretty dang well. It's a helluva community but using it for business is BAD. Look at what happened to Woody Harrelson when he tried to advertise Rampart via an AMA.

What makes it even worst is that I can post my links on few Subreddits and get pretty decent amount of views for free. So at this time I actually get even worst results with ads then with just posting links for free

Thanks a lot for this! I was thinking about spending some more money on Reddit ads just to test it out better but right now I don't think this would be a great idea.

Yeah, I've heard it's much better to just hit up the subreddits that have your own community.

Rampart? Now that's a whole different ball game. Haha
