Recording your Xbox 360 gameplay?

Now I know that recording gameplay from an Xbox 360 requires a capture device but after researching some good ones, it appears it will set me back about £100 and they seem to have varying results. Is there any cost effective ways you guys know of, or do I have to stump up the money for the best results?

Cost effective, and HD? I think the cheapest is the Hauppage (spelling). Even that is a bit pricey. Now if you don't mind standard def get a dazzle, Original Roxio(not HD), or something along those lines.

Ah. so the capture device is the only way to record the gameplay? No other tricks?

Not aware of any. Except for maybe a bunch of wires or something? I am not very technical sorry. I think Gamecaps are your best bet as they are easy and reliable and good quality.

Ah thank you very much for the help! Best of luck with your channel! I like your stuff:)

Elgato, Hauppage, there was one more big one that I forget. Go online and just look it up. I'm sure you could find alternatives that would work better for you.

I think you should save up and get an Elgeto game capture its expensive but its really easy to use and really good!
