Recommend a good USB microphone? =D

Hi!
I'm on the lookout for a good USB microphone (not too expensive, but still decent), and I would like it to be able to record several people's voices when we record.

Anyone got any suggestions? :)

Not sure what price range your going for but the Blue Yeti should be good for that. It has different modes to allow for audio from different angles and different people :p

Everybody is going to recommend a Blue microphone.

Blue Yeti Pro - $170
Blue Yeti - $90
Blue Spark Digital - $200
Blue Nessie - $100
Blue Snowball - $60
Blue Snowball Ice - $50

Really, whatever price is right for you is the one you should go with.

I'll have a look at what I can afford atm :)
(Everything is more expensive over here anyway @-@)

Wow people like Blue Mics. If you want the real cheap and easy side of blue, then have a look at Blue Snowflake. It's pretty cheap compared to the others and still high quality recording. If you want an alternative, then have a look at Samson Go-Mic, that's the once I use. It's just a bit cheaper than the Blue Snowflake but they're pretty equal in quality and physical size :)

I just ordered a Blue Nessie (A bit on the expensive side, but hey, rather pay up now than to buy a decent one, and upgrade later)
I hate norwegian prices T-T it's not 100$ here, it's 147$

I would use the Blue Yeti Pro if you're looking to record several peoples voices. I don't remember if the Samson CO3U has an omni pattern as well.

I've actually found the Turtle Beach PX3's to great for recording audio. I know a headset right? But you don't have to be wearing them. I found this out after wanting to come on camera. I adjusted the sensitivity up a bit then dropped them in front of the laptop. Sound was very clean surprising enough and been doing it since when I haven't uploaded straight from the phone.

They perform best however with the PC since the you get rid of the Analog audio and are using just the USB. Also they're just awesome headsets when you find the right preset to hear footsteps in CoD. Only $70 (on sale I think) at Walmart when I bought them. They are multi-purpose, so they also work for the XBOX and PC although made for the PS3.

The only issue I've encounter is wifi interference in one apartment complex. I guess there were a few dozen routers too close? It was a pain but once the receiver was in the right spot, no worries. I've had a really good experience with mine, so hope it helps since it's the most bang for your buck I can think of.
