Recent controversy about Vlog couple

I'm pretty sure that if I was married and my wife had just miscarriaged, then I wouldn't be sticking a camera in her face and filming her reaction. In fact, YouTube would be the last thing on my mind. I'd be grieving and taking care of my wife. But on their channel, they make a new video just days after the "miscarriage" titled "The first day of the rest of our lives" with huge smiles on the thumbnail and they carry on as though nothing has happened............




Yeah, that sums up how I feel about it too. Their whole channel is just one big lie. He even claims in one of his videos that he's given up his job for YouTube, but someone called where he worked and his employers denied it.

Yeah it is pretty disgusting. I agree,you shouldn't be all over YT after an event like that.
 
Oey vay! Hes only sorry he got caught I bet. He would have never admitted it if it wasn't for the giant hack thing that happened. ANYWAYS it totally plays into their whole attention seeking drama faking BS. But if that is how they want to get their youtube fame then owell it's their reputation on the line.
 
I really don't know what to feel about this. As a person of faith myself, I do know in my heart that I forgive. Even if what they had done was horrible, it's their guilt, and their burden to carry. IF they truly believe in God, he'll share that burden with them, as he'd do for anyone. Humans, Christian or not make mistakes, and they should own up to them.

My ex-wife lied about having a miscarriage, and went behind my back to have an abortion. She basically killed me unborn child, and got away with it. So, the issue of even faking a miscarriage itself is pretty awful, and shouldn't be overlooked. Though, I guess as they said "Ye who cast the first stone.." yeah? Anyway, I didn't mean to sound like I was preaching! Oi, I know I don't like it when people preach to me, haha.
 
I honestly don't believe the whole pregnancy situation was real. I hope I am wrong, in that I hope I have tragically misjudged an innocent couple. But unfortunately some people are willing to cross any line to go viral. And I wouldn't be surprised if it came out the whole pregnancy was faked.

It annoyed me that the guy claimed God "forgave him" for his Ashley Maddison account. I'm not as religious as I used to be, but it pisses me off when people use God as an exemption from their faults. If I go out and murder several people, and then claim God thought it was okay (I know these are radically different situations, but same principle), some people would have issues with that.

So in my opinion I think they are just trying to be the next "viral" couple. Along the lines of that family who convinced the news that their son was in a weather balloon.

The whole situation, real or not, does not belong on YouTube. It's like they're trying to cash in on whatever they can with it, and that just doesn't sit right.

I feel a lot of people are "cashing in" on things, and people seem to be fine with it. Exploiting the homeless, and people with depression. Someone posted a Fousey video on this thread, and I used to really admire what he did. His homeless videos were okay at first because he was seeing the reactions people had, then he just kept trying to milk it. Then, I came back, and saw he was trying to better himself, and I thought I'd give him another change. After losing weight, and getting into shape, he developed this huge ego, and started acting like a completely douchebag.

I'm not one to say "Hey, you need to stop what your doing.." So, I just stopped watching because of how I felt about it personally.
 
This kind of controversy is the reason I don't watch Vlogging Channels or Content. It's too easy to say something that is not true or do something that is staged for views and make the audience believe it's real. If I wanted to watch Staged/Scripted Reality I'd go watch TV. That said, I hope that the story of the miscarriage is true because I want them to be telling the truth but on the other hand I don't want it to be because that would mean the loss of a child and I wouldn't want that. The best thing for this couple to do is to stay off YouTube and perhaps move somewhere else nearby because from what I've read and heard about that Vlogging Conference in Seattle that they attended they have got quite a bad rep now among their fellow Vloggers.

When you get older, and want to start a family, then you'll understand. I'm not against abortions, so I'm not sure where you got that idea. I am however against her lying to have our unborn child killed so that she didn't have to help take care of him, or whatever reason she did. You don't know my life, or what transpired. Your reply is ignorant, and rude.
