Really low average watch time

haha cheers :) I think it's cause my video with the most views is only about 4 minutes :) but still :p btw I just watched your MSMC class setup video all the way through :) you do really nice commentaries! :D
Thank you very much, I try. I don't always succeed, but I try!

Hello, just checked out your video!

I know it is challenging to continue to speak while recording the video, to overcome this issue myself, I decided to collaborate with other user and recorded it. Because I had someone I could talk to, we never stopped talking and my viewers loved it. In this forum, we have collaborating thread maybe you want to check it out! I am sure there are some Minecraft user who is looking for someone to collaborate with. Do collaborate couple times and get hang of it.

and maybe you will feel comfortable speaking by yourself after while.

Good Luck!

Hi everyone,
thanks for all the help found in this forum and for the support of some of you who checked out my channel and supported me. I am so thankful for that!
Today I looked deeper into my analytics and I saw that my videos have a really low average watch time of around 1:30. Am I really so boring... ?
I know that my intro is too long so I will try to bring my channel's variety across without listing the topics in the intro - but I am not very good at making intros so that's the best I could do.
Also people commented that they like my video but it seems in my analytics that most people quit after a minute or so.
Is my analytics just weird or are my videos really that boring? And if so, what could I do better? I know that I need a better mic, that I should sound more confident and say less "... em..."s but that is becuase I am not used much to speaking into a microphone except Skyping with my friends in England.
Have a successful day.
You have only just begun the great journey of YouTube, that, believe it or not is pretty decent since you have just started. As you grow, improve, get partnered, hit milestones etc. Your avg view time will go up. Just keep improving and making videos.

The intro as others have mentioned is the biggest culprit. If a significant portion of people get bored and move on, they never even hear you speak. You don't have to re-render the videos though. Go into Video manager, to each vid individually and "enhancements". You should be able to adjust the start time and just cut the intro off all together. Then work on getting a shorter intro for future videos.
