Real or Fake Comments?

I've been seeing these more and more lately. All I wanna know, are the responses to the initial comment actually PEOPLE who are in no relation with the user, or are they somehow acquaintances or friends OR even the user's second acct?

For some reason, I feel like these are fake...idk.

Not always fake although they could be, sometimes it's just viewers who don't understand how YouTube works. I still have a comment on 1 of my first few videos, I think it was 1 of my first reviews, my mate commented on the video with something like "wow nice video, subscribed" haha he said he thought it might make people more inclined to sub, but he knows very little of how Youtube really works so I don't blame him much for trying. But it's generally hard to tell if they're fakes or not or just oblivious.

My first instinct is to assume they're fake, or friends of that person. Either way, it doesn't make me want to check out that person's channel any more.

I see them as being fake.

I've once seen someone who always spammed the exact thing across multiple channels. On each comment, was the same person responding to it, saying something along the lines of "Your content is so amazing! I subbed!". I mean, really? Come on... the SAME person responding to each comment with the same thing? You want me to believe that? lol.

I think people are transferring their spam to the comments more now lol

Glad I'm not the only one!

My first instinct is to assume they're fake, or friends of that person. Either way, it doesn't make me want to check out that person's channel any more.

That's what I'm saying. It actually makes me want to skip over them more than anything :3
