Real name or Branding name?

Hi everyone, I haven't post in this forum for a quite a long time now. I've been busy for a couple months and now I have time to post again. My plan was to use my branding name from the start but at that time nobody really knows me on youtube, so I've decided to use my real name for my channel. Now I was quite known on youtube, do you think I should change my channel name to the branding name i want or should I stick with my real name cause now all my viewers had recognized my channel with my real name?

Personally if you like your branding name and you prefer it, then you should revert back to it. But if you dont have an issue with sticking with your real name then you should continue with the real name. At the end of the day, its what you like and people subscribe for the content you make, i dont think anyone would be like "ayyeee, i subbed for your channel name, its so cool" but if your concern is about whether people will recognise you in long run, try and brainwash them with whatever brand whether it be the channel name or your name along the way, theyll catch on

You should do what you feel like doing. I think your subscribers appreciate who you are so they accept if you change your name. It can be an improvement to change your name

If you feel that branding name is better for you, then go for it. My only suggestion is - don't rush with a change and think well if you are going to be happy with a new name because once you change it, you won't be able to change it back for some time (if I remember correctly, for 6 months).

I would suggest a branding name. The reason why is because you can think of it yourself! You can make it an easy and attractive name to remember. If I would use my own name it would be "Girbaud presenting the Super Sketch Show".. Thats just sounds a bit harder than "Ace presenting the Super Sketch Show" haha but that's just my opinion!
