I don't really have "real life" friends - in the sense of "people I see in person every few months".

But my coworkers came across my channel, and seem to enjoy it

I initially made it public on my facebook, a bunch of people saw my first videos and now a handful still care to watch. It's expected though, not everyone is into YouTube and not everyone is into the kinds of videos I make. I find it's a nice way to be connected to my friends overseas too.
