Not sure if this belongs here (because RWJ is a YouTuber), or in Chillout (because it's not directly YouTube related). Mods, feel free to relocate if needed.

Anyway, has anyone heard that RWJ signed a deal to develop a TV series? What are your thoughts about it? Personally I'm excited ... he was the first big YouTuber I followed, and it was through him I discovered all the other YouTubers I now follow. He's worked hard to break away from doing =3 and I applaud him for it.

I'm not a big fan of RWJ, but let's hope it's something original and not like every other show that reviews other videos. Let's also hope that every episode isn't filled with d**k jokes!... I mean, I find it cool that he's going to TV, but I just hope he will be doing something more original. I don't find his channel unique at all :/
 
Well Tobuscus and Annoying Orange can be on TV, why not RWJ? And what kind of show would it even be? A Tosh.0 ripoff?
 
I love RWJ and wish him the best. I don't tell any of my friends though because they think he is a dbag. My guilty pleasure hur hur hur :)
 
i mean, that's a great opportunity for him, and I'm glad for him. I know he works hard at what he does. However, I've never been a big fan of him, because I personally think he's a little too much like Tosh.O , which is how I see his TV series being like. Once again, just a personal opinion
 
Good for him, branching out into other media outlets is awesome. I may or may not watch what he does since I don't find him to be that amazing of an actor. But it'ls worth an episode or 2

I believe RWJ started first, so if anything Tosh.0 would be a RWJ ripoff :P (Not that I think of it that way)

Except Daniel Tosh is on TV, so if RWJ went to TV, would that make him the ripoff or...?

Also, Tosh's show seems more structured and looks like it has a higher production value, but I digress.
