Random videos sent via inbox from strangers

I've been noticing something: The last three users who shared a video via an inbox had multiple things in common: no subscribers, no banner, no videos and no discussion activity.

Anybody else getting his by these blank accounts sending random crap to your inbox?

People do this so when you report the user, it goes to the account of the person who sent the message, not the owner of the channel their spam-promoting.

Hmm, I never knew that. Though I just ignore them, never bother to report them. But yeah, I get those a lot.
 
The next one who sends me one I will actually be reported for spam, but going to the offenders page first and not from the inbox.

Yeh I get them too sometimes, I'll go and report the channel too. I did always wonder why someone would just send me someone else's video like that.
 
I get them a decent bit, as well. It's just spam bots, so I don't even pay attention to them.
 
In the last week i have been getting a bunch of these in my inbox, i never had them before and they are links to the most random ******** that i would never even watch
