A better idea perhaps would be to do book reviews (without spoilers) once you've actually finished a book. There are a quite a few channels doing this, but I'm sure if you specialised on a particular genre, then you'd find plenty of interested viewers. Good luck!

This is true. It would be quite boring of someone just reading a book.

I want to do something that not many channels are doing & I have seen a few doing book reviews. Which are very interesting on their own.

I am trying to think of a way to read that book that would make it somewhat interesting. like pictures or video clips during the reading.
 
Add pictures that can go with what your reading to set the phase. add music to set the mood on each scene of the book. sad music for sad scene. abit of backgroung exciting music for a freaking hyped scene. add lots of emotion to your voice and make it fun to enjoy and relax to.

not sure on the monotization. but as long as you have a good rading voice and dont mess up while reading then it could be a good idea. give it a shot
 
I did a book reading 2 weeks ago and people loved it so now i have a whole series planned. I dont monetize videos so that isnt an issue for me but the style i did it in should cover it under parody. I do know a few people who do straight up book readings and they do it as a group and change the person reading every couple of minutes.
