Hi guys

I have a Canon 700D

I was filming the other day and about 40 mins into filming the camera turned off.

Is there a way to change this so it doesn't turn off?

Thanks[DOUBLEPOST=1453627983,1453563069][/DOUBLEPOST]Any suggestions?

Hey,

In Menu there is an 'auto power off' setting. This can be set from anything like 2 mins to 30 mins. Double check you don't have this selected. I have a feeling DSLR's, by default, have the setting enabled.

James.

I had the same problem once and I've got a 70D. Looked around on the internet and apparently this is a common problem.

Do you have a class 10 SD card? You need one or else the write speed is not sufficient. And if you do, it could also be that particular sd card (try formatting it first) OR buy an even better one. Continuously recording HD takes up a lot of space.
