Okay, so I started youtube about a month ago, saw alot of stuff on youtube partnerships , and I thought that I was going to have to put alot of work in to become a youtube partner, but then it turns out, I just applied, and they accepted, and now I monetize my videos, but am I done??? I feeel like I am supposed to be doing something else other then monetizing my videos to make the money, is there another partnership that i have to apply for??? I am confused on this subject especially because, I saw on someone elses youtube video, about youtube money, that on average, youtube partners will make 3 dollars per 1000 views, on pages that have ads... .Am I wrong?? Well i must be , because my "estimated earnings" on youtube is $1.27 and I have over 40k views... I am sorry , I know this is probably a NOOB question. but im confused, and any help will be greatly appreciated... THANK YOU!!!

You should have done more homework before you joined a network. This might be another textbook case of a channel signing with a network prematurely, not doing their homework, getting popular, and being disappointed with the poor deal that they agreed to.

SO , did I agree to a deal?? I didnt do much but apply for a partnership, and now I have my videos monetized, Yes, I should have done more homework, I wish I had these forums earlier... WHat can i do now??

D'oh! Sorry, I misunderstood.

You are fine if you are with YouTube. Again, sorry about that.

Your CPM is not going to be anywhere near anybody else because you just started. You haven't proven to YouTube or to advertisers the value of your channel yet.

Who did you partner with and what is your contract length?

I dont know what network I joined with... Stupidly, I thought youtube ads were ALL one network, and I thought that if I just monetized , then I would be set... Seems more confusing then i thought lol

If you are partnered with YouTube directly (making an adsense account), you don't have anything to worry about. You can turn monetization on or off anytime you want. But if the time comes when you feel like partnering with a NETWORK, then you should do research.

Oh , Okay I see! So I will just keep my monetization right now with youtube, and when my channel gets a bit more popular I will start thinking for which network I want ( which there is a forum for choosing the correct network for you as I see )

THANKS GUYS! I just started this website today, and its helped me more then anything for youtube!

Sorry, never go with youtube partnership. And I mean NEVER. go with an another network other than Youtube, more money and freedom.

My channel has been doing pretty good for only being up one month, and I dont want to agree to a long term contract for a crappy network, and then be able to get a better network 1 month later, but still stuck with the crap money?? you get it kind of? or Do i not make sense??

THANKS FOR THE HELP, like i said im new, but i think im starting to catch the grasp.
