Question!!!!

I get that, but posting a video will not harm a developer 95% of the time. Some developers say they don't want the story posted because then people will just watch the videos instead of buying the game. The people that watch those probably weren't going to buy it anyway.

Disagree. But I suggest you invest the frustration in trying to get copyright law changed.

What I'm curious about is what is going to happen when the PS4 comes out. Sony has added a share button to the PS4 controller, and games are constantly recorded. You can then upload gameplay directly to YouTube.

Good question. Perhaps Sony has some plan in mind for auto-monetizing. Or perhaps there's a business model in offering you commentary licenses for a subscription fee (eliminating the need for a network)

Or maybe there wont be copyright in any PS4 game O.o But i think you can only share via USTREAM :/

Copyright on videos bugs the heck out of me. We bought your game. Now screw off. I have a great deal of respect for developers that allow you to make videos of their games and do whatever you want with it, as long as you mention them in the description somewhere. Heck, many indie devs don't even ask for that and just say to do what you want.
You bought the game, not the rights and licenses that go with it. That's like buying a movie and putting it on the internet. Still copyright.
