I am going to start a gaming channel, what are the pros and cons of having one big site or several sites for different games.

Mm i think the pros of having one big channel is that you can meet requirements for several different target audiences, if some one doesn't want to watch one video about a certain game they have the option of looking at others if they choose to.

I was thinking of channel optimization. Do you think the channel would get more views if the channel was named in line with the game.

Yeah, but you'll run out of content that way. Your people will get bored and even if you get more views in the short term, you'll suffer in the long run if you can't adapt to new games.

Yeah I know a channel that had Batman in the name and was only doing the new Batman stuff but I would think after the new one is beat people will unsub till the next one assuming we get a new one in the next few years. I think people with Pokemon in the name can make it work since we get a Pokemon game every 6 months

Yeah, that's true. If you choose a series that keeps getting new games (call of duty, halo, pokemon), then you'll always have content and interest - unless they discontinue the series.
