Question for All Youtubers, Which Matters Most To You On Your Channel

Everything matters, but at the moment - views, for a contest. Otherwise, comments, likes, subs - all that. I really like subs, because they make me happy, also comments - because I like when people react to my videos
It's always nice to log on youtube and see someone has commented or subbed!

Guys thanks for sharing, if you received a comment and a negative one or something that is below the belt how would you respond ?

Depends on what the comment is. If it's just a troll saying "you suck", I wouldn't probably do anything. If it's a hater that spreads hate on my every single video, I would probably block them. If someone says the video sucked, I would probably ask them why and what could I do better next time. Here's something I'd NEVER do - I would not respond to a comment full of insults with an insult. Never do that! It leaves such a bad impression of the person replying, I've seen a few gaming channels do that, and that didn't make me want to watch them at all. I'd like to see a person handle a comment like that with professionality, insult-free.

I think they're all as important as each other. If people watch your videos, and they choose to act upon it afterwards, that's a great thing. I appreciate any sort of feedback as it forces me to get better at what I do.

Hello Kelly, I am now your 11th subscriber as of this writing, thanks for the advise, you are a real person.[DOUBLEPOST=1347618949,1347616173][/DOUBLEPOST]
Comments mean more because it requires actual effort.
Agree on that

Content, Content, Content. I can`t stand it for a moment if a new Game does hit the Store and I don`t have any Material about it on my Channel. Do I care about negative Comments or Dislikes - Not really since I encourage everyone to speak on my Channel freely since I can`t stand it if a Place is only showing happy Faces and only Likes. Everyone of us is having a bad Day once or don`t like something and should be able to explain his feelings. While some appreciate that brutal truth others have often ask me to disable the Comments or the Rating System if the hate (Trolling?) get`s to big but I always have the feeling that if someone get`s tired enough of doing it he will return after a few Years and then start to behave on a normal Level because he might realize that he did something that hadn´t helped anyone at all :)

Content, Subscribers, Likes and Comments. I put a lot of work into my videos, getting constructive comments and getting likes is nice.
