1st, what make you decide to join youtube and why ?
When I see ordinary people singing, mom and pops, grandpas and granpas and doing covers of songs they sing and singing with pure emotion and soul, that is truly inspiring so I said to myself, why not do it also.
When I was in highschool in 1976 to 80, I asked my mom for an electric guitar for graduation and so she gave me one together with a vacuum tube amplifier and my home rocks day and night until I p****d off some neigbors due to the loud volume of the sound. College came and then I become a working man and suddenly my interest dropped, I hardly get my guitar and play occasionally same songs and nothing new until a couple of years back I saw a kid on youtube a 7 year old kid named Sungha Jung from Korea but I think he's 17 now and very popular on youtuebe, playing a fingerstyle on more than words and my jaw dropped. I was shocked and awed and told myself if I did not stop playing or if I continue playing then I might be as good or even better than this kid. My interest arouse again and purchase some gear and made a commitment to myself that I will be holding on to my guitar for dear life. And as part of my commitment, I render my videos on youtube and is number 1 priority on my bucket list for life. My videos aren't perfect but I watch each one in details capture any small mistakes and learn from it and then upload a better video the next time around, so much things to learn and hope as time passed by, my playing and singing will improve.
It is my hope that I also likewise entertain the viewers and my small list of subscribers on the music I post on my channel. Will be rendering a couple of covers this Sunday as this is the only free time of my daughter kay who do the recording and likewise will share it to this forum as well.
Thank you for reading and hope everyone have a great day ahead of you. Rolly
