Question About Views/Ad Clicks

I know YouTube has a policy against people clicking on their own ads to boost their revenue, but what about people they live with?

Like if my family were to view my channel, would YouTube just recognize it as the same IP and penalize me?
 
I wouldnt do it, just in case. If you get banned from AdSense you have to create a new channel to make a new account. Not worth it.
 
I think if they don't click on the ads, you should be fine. Make sure you tell them NOT to click on the ads on your videos.
 
they cannot click on your ads because its the same IP address and YT will know that. if you or they click on your ads more than 3 or 5 times you account will get ban.. if they were using different IP Adress then there will be no problem. but if they click on the ads from a different ip addrees more than 3 times per day or week, still your account will get ban.
 
Its not worth the risk for the amount of money a click would generate, just don't even try.

Wait.. That last part..What's to stop anyone from doing that and getting someone banned? That's a bit crazy. "Hey I don't like this guy. I'll click his ads repeatedly."

That happens all the time, its a major problem. That's why so many people get partnered early because it protects you from click bombing.

Don't be discouraged , although it happens it is still rare , normally it only happens if you have a massive argument with someone and they get childish and try ruin your account by click bombing you.
 
I never even considered clicking my own ads........my god that sounds weird surprised its an option for your own video lol.
