That being said, I forgot to mention, the occasional text pop ups during a video is okay. Usually a few words here and there. But it's best done as proper text in the production stage as you can make it look better than the stale font used in annotations.

Always use commentary when you can, it falls under fair use. But always double check the terms and conditions from the publishers/developers on their websites. If they don't have any contact them. I almost recorded an early access demo for Beyond Two Souls to do a first impressions type video. I emailed Quantic Dream to be sure, turns out they don't even allow you to do videos that aren't commercialised. Dodged a bullet there O.O.

Can you tell me how you got in touch with them? AlloySeven, for example, indicates he e-mailed but with no response after 2 months, IIRC. Just a normal customer service e-mail normally doesn't seem to do the trick.

I can't remember now, but it was through their website somewhere. They don't allow it anyways so there's no point contacting QD.
