Purely from the perspective of first time Photoshop, how does this look?

So a while back, someone made me the base of this banner on here, with me, Slenderman and SCP 173 (the white thing). Today, I got Photoshop and have been learning the ropes, and tried my hand at expanding the banner. Now purely from a perspective of, you know, first time Photoshop, how is it? One of the tips I got when the guy first made this was that I needed to make it reflect my channel more, and so I spent most of the afternoon estbalishing what would and would not work, and what best represents my channel so.

Obviously when I am more confident with photoshop, I will make my own banner but this is just establishin gstuff and learning the ropes

Personally I don't think it looks to bad for someone who's just started using photoshop!
Took me like 3 weeks to find out you could do a transparent background ;D

There's some things I don't like, which would mainly be the gradients, but I wouldn't expect you to be learning the smudge tool and stuff for creating your own textured background just yet :)

So in all.. nice work, Feel free to tag me in any other banners and stuff that you do, I'll be happy to tell you what I think about them :P I try not to be to mean :D

That's not a bad first effort. I am still learning the ropes with Photoshop so know how hard it is when you first open up. I spent a lot of time watching tutorials on Youtube which have helped me with it. I would reccomend you have a look at a few if you are earning the rops.

Thanks to you both. Yeah, when I settle down to relax tonight, I'm going to look up a few tutorials. Indeed, one tutorial helped me to create this

Which I'm quite happy with

damn, send me the tutorial for that, that looks cool. I have no idea how to do something like that haha

I can't even remmeber what tutorial it was, although it was web based. I think my process was to go into Filters and apply an Oil painting, and then paste my image over it, and using a 300% zoom, paint my skin white, and my eyes black and red, with purple lips. Then a wee bit of distortion. The base image was one of the official pieces of Artwork for this upcoming game you see.

Ah thought you had done the whole thing lol
