PSA: DELETE EXTRA TAGS

So YouTube has been really cracking down recently, and they are terminating a lot of accounts that go against ToS when it comes to tags. I felt like I should share just incase someone doesn't knows of these rules, and doesn't want to get their channel terminated.

DO NOT PUT EXTRA TAGS IN YOUR DESCRIPTIONS
DO NOT PUT UNRELATED TAGS IN THE TAG BOX

These are both against YouTube's ToS (and has been. This isn't anything new). You are running the risk of getting your channel taken down.

The trusted flagger program has been around since 2012. The announcement simply acknowledges the existence of the program-nothing has actually changed with it in the past few days.

Was just stating that this and another group have started to use this alot.
The group I linked above has gotten like 10 100k subs channels terminated for spam in the last 2 or so weeks lol

That's kind of sad. A lot of hard work probably went into those channels... :(
 
I think my only default tag is 'JeriKane,' which is pretty much my channel. I don't think that'll cause any problems. >_>

Besides that... Meh. I've known about this for a while now (luckily). So I know a lot more do's and don't's as far as YouTube and tagging and whatnot.

Besides, extra tags in the description just looks awful.
 
What about other stuff though? Like it seems too much power to give some people who we don't even know especially if they can flag a video for something as simple as a swear word.
 
If you do want to put keywords in your description, integrate them into paragraph format.

I.E. Keywords for one of my Cod Ghosts Weapon Guides: Maverick, AR, Assault Rifle, Weapon Guide, Gun Guide, Cod Ghosts, gameplay. custom class, etc.

Turn these keywords into this(Keywords in bold): The Maverick Assault Rifle in Cod Ghosts is X, and be comparable to X in this weapon guide. While making this gun guide for the Maverick, I discovered that the Maverick AR is actually X while playing with the Assault Rifle in the gameplay. I determined that the best custom class for the Maverick Assault rifle in Cod Ghosts is X. We can clearly determine in this Maverick AR Weapon Guide, that this gun is truly X, especially when configured with the custom classes.

Looks a lot cleaner, fits all tags/keywords in, and it adds a professional look.
