You do gaming videos, you want to put your stuff out where there are a lot of gamers, gaming forums for example where they allow signature links etc but it could be seen as spamming so make sure you read peoples forum rules etc first even stick your URL in your XBL about me if you play on the 360.

Youre doing Skyrim at the moment so Skyrim specific forums and websites are likely a good place for you to start.

Also from experience you will get a more subscribers as you release more content, when I visit a channel that has 3 videos I usually wont subscribe until they have more, having at least say 9 then I think people will trust that you put out content regularly.

You should be doing all that along with the social networking site stuff and on here, that's maximising your exposure to a variety of people and I think that's the best way to do things along with networking with people.

On YTtalk the best form of promotion is being a committed and active member, helping others, getting to know them, working with them and such will make people far more inclined to watch your videos.

yeah im searching some skyrim forums now, i just thought that it would be alot quicker and easier then this :/ oh well i guess i have to keep trying.

Since we do horror game sin general we get a little more forums since we do so many games....hopefully active people will start to come over to our channel.
 
Monkey had a great selection of sites to promote to. You can't put all your eggs in one basket so to speak and expect everyone will go to it, it's hard work, sometimes luck but most importantly determinati0n.

Over the last 3 months I've got a nice following I think, amassed a very good set of places to promote to and see what happens from it :)
Sometimes I barely get any views from promoting on FB, other times i get a few hundred.

Keep doing what you love and you'll get there
