Promotion and Advertisement That Actually Works

So people have always been telling me to promote my channel on social media and forums to boost views, which I do, yet you couldn't really tell that from my stats. In fact, the last time someone clicked on a link to one of my videos was 15 months ago.

To make things ironic, my biggest view source is actually Reddit, making about 50% of my views. However I don't even do any advertisement on it. All I did is post a few threads about how can I improve my channel.

So what can I do to improve this?
