Promoting Your Channel Outside of the Internet

How do you market and promote your channel without social media and outside of using the internet?

I printed up business cards with website address on them. I post the cards on bulletin boards in my gym, at community centers and hand them out to people I meet who have an interest in baking. I have even left them in restaurants and have had waitstaff show an interest. My website has links to all of my social media sites including my youtube channel.

I picked up subscribers by doing this.

Only promoting I've done offline is print out little business cards that we hand out to each person we interview, so they can check the channel out before their interview is released. It's been effective, as several of them hit me up on social media pretty soon after.

The business card thing actually sounds like a great idea! Since my channel is about comic books I could ask to leave them in the local comic book shops in my area! Apparently my well-meaning, sweet mother wrote down my youtube url and gave it to the owner of one comic book store because she thinks I'm being too passive lol....
*sigh* I guess I should be thanking her..but I would much rather it look more professional and hand it out myself! :) So thanks for this idea!

We've done this as well (handing out business cards) to some of the conventions we go to. Some of the people we interview and do cosplay music videos for we make sure to give a card. We also make sure to tell them exactly what the channel is about so that they won't feel 'tricked' into subscribing to a channel that they may not like the daily content, but can still check out the special videos that they are in.

I haven't done any offline promoting but if I did it would be with a branded business card I would hand the person during a business meeting that I would have during some kind of content creator convention or event, like Twitch Con, Vid Con, or PAX.
