If It's a short video, It shouldn't be too badFacebook is the worst experience I have used for advertising a video...
We use reddit, 9Gag TV, twitter and we have a facebook page. Helps with getting loads of views but doesn't bring in many new subscribers. We tried AdSense with our first few videos and it worked. We got a few hundred views. Our content was pretty crap back then. I think with really good content it can be quite effective as more people are likely to share and subscribe
Do you know of any good tutorial videos for running an adwords campaign? Reddit gives a real bad audience retention on some videos compared to other areas I've used to promote. I think if I can target the right audience through adwords it will increase audience retention of the video in question and therefore keep Ad Performance/RPM high
Down side is that even at the cheapest, $.01 per view, it's still $10 for only a thousand views...so it can get very expensive quickly if you want big numbers.
You only get charged if they watch 30 seconds (or more) of your video. If they hit 'skip' earlier, you will not be billed.
