Ok so DON'T COMMENT IN BIGGER VDIEOS FOR SUBS!! sorry for the caps but that is a terrible idea that many people do these days.
Make videos about interesting games that people want to see, I have gotten 2500 views in the past month
of which 869 views have been from youtube search alone, and more from google search and other search engines.
so make interesting videos/make stuff people want to see!/Tags are a great advantage If you do tags and whatnot(thumbnails,titles) right you won't need to advertise to much

Usually comments advertising your videos get flagged as spam. So if you do post advertisement comments try to make it casual.

One thing i would suggest is joining facebook groups for gaming, their are some with a lot of active members and its used to post videos and view videos. I have gained some subscribers from the facebook groups so they work okay. Also try to make friends on youtube that are around the same amount of subscribers that you are at and box for box with them and if possible try to do collabs.

LOL at the first part and thanks, but the thing is I found this out on my old channel that if you do the come look at my channel bit right and make it sound good and few people like it you gain about 3-7 subs and 50 views each time on videos and then more people watch them because they have more views?

Haha, sorry about that, but yeah, commenting on other videos to say "come look at MY videos!" is not only annoying, it's really rude to the video creator whose audience you're trying to hijack. I personally delete comments like this on my videos and never even read the whole thing when I see them on other's videos.

The same goes for "sharing your videos" with a bunch of random people through the YouTube inbox. It's not promotion or advertising, it's spam.
