Hey all, so I have this question what programs is best for voice recording video recording and editing. At the moment I'm using for video recording fraps, for voice recording audacity and for editing sony vegos pro 10. Need your opinion guys.
 
yeah you actually have pretty much everything you'd possibly need all there for you :)
i really need vegas pro -- its ten times better than premiere pro -- audacity is one of the best and easy to understand and use audio recorders out there and fraps is frappin awesome :)
 
to be honest its all about personal choice and what you want to achieve as your end product. Stick with what you know and what works for you. If its doing what you want and your happy with the result then thats all that matters.

My setup. I use a mac and have bootcamp setup. For my game play footage I use Action. Until recently I was using iMovie which was great for what I was doing. Then they updated it and I could not get on with it.. I moved to Premier Elements 12 and for some reason it runs like a dog so I am now learning Premier Pro and having to learn how they do stuff now.

If it works for you and your happy with the result then stick with it..
 
Honestly I shoot with a camera that most Youtubers vlog with, it's all about post and lighting, If you see my most recent video, youd be surprise at the quality cause I sure was!

I would actually consider Premier Pro to be more powerful than Vegas. :) But Vegas is easier to learn.

ahhhh cool....i find vegas has way more built in and loads of extra effects and transitions...premieres are realy basic and some dont even work properly...lol
but its all preference really :D
