Professional Looking Vids?

I've Got It
So, as a newbie, and with very little equipment - laptop and powershot point and shoot camera - how is it best to take the next step and make professional looking videos without breaking my budget and jumping the gun on buying expensive equipment so early? Reason being, I have a passion in what I do, and its not necessarily to be with the big boys in terms of video quality, but for my self to be able to look back in the future and see the details I put in to my work (and probably cringe at the cheesy videos, I already do)

There are certain things you can do video quality wise that can help.
For one, your camera should already have pretty decent quality, most cameras already do.
Two, if there is an option for better quality with the disadvantage that it will take longer,
take the time and let the video render for longer while you do stuff. It pays off.
Three, Lighting effects can help, there is a video on youtube about this that you should watch,
I cant post the link due to the fact that it would be advertising but if you search up "How to make videos
look pro" It should be the first or second one!
Best of luck with your youtube future

Thanks so much! Lighting is definitely something I struggle with - small apartment, few windows, etc. And I can definitely tell its artificial light - gives my videos that yellow tint

so i change my mind completely, I just watched your most recent video and it looks professional already! no joke!
I love it!
I might work on the audio levels a little bit though, the music does get a touch loud

Haha thanks! It has been something I've noticed though with lighting, that's been the closest thing I've been to purchasing, and haha. I'm going to blame it on my poor hearing. I have like, extreme selective hearing - meaning everything haha.

i feel you xD Im color blind and dyslexic, it raises a few problems :p

I went to your channel.

First thing that comes to mind is audio quality, the voice is inconsistent - some parts are louder than others. Try using Audacity (free) to work on that.

Your camera video (with you) at the beggining of the last video has bad colors. Maybe work on light, try different background.

Also do not use different intro in every video.

Thanks so much for the tips! I will definitely work on all of that!
