Processing problems???

This has been happening for a while now. When I upload a video, it gets stuck at processing. Only it doesn't. On the upload page, when it's done uploading it says "upload complete! your video is now processing" blah blah blah. But it stays at 0%. The weird thing is, after a few minutes if I open a new tab and go to my channel the video will be live. After that, I can close the upload page without it telling me that it will cancel my upload. Does this happen to anyone else and how do I fix it?!?!?!?!?
 
It's not exactly something needing the fix, all processing is done on youtube's part. Once the video is uploaded you can close the upload page since all processing is done over at youtube :p The processing is for the higher quality versions eg 720p and 1080p so that might explain how you can view it before processing is done, it'll probably be higher quality video processing is my guess
 
Trouble processing is nothing too bad, usually a Youtube bug. As soon as it's processing, your video is live, it's just that some resolutions may not be done processing so your live video doesn't have all the resolutions yet (like 720p, maybe 360p is missing, etc)

So basically you can close the upload page if you want to.
 
That happens from time to time. If it never passes processing, that's when you have an issue. It's still not entirely on your end. Just happens to hit a YouTube bug.

Try different web browsers. Like Google Chrome if you're not already using it. That will be the most likely to show you a live update on the processing.
