Process of video recording, editing, uploading

Another quick one then - how do you force a game to be 16:9? Does it depend on your screen resolution or the settings within the game?
both, or more precisely it depends on the game and what settings you use. If you play a game in fullscreen windowed mode or something like that your pc resolution would be the recording resolution. If you go into game in fullscreen and set a resolution there then you would need to set the resolution in game.

1920 x 1080 is the resolution you want for rendering 1080p videos

I use premiere pro and after effects for my videos.. you need to get a video compressor to compress those huge video files.. just search for them on google and theres free ones for both mac and pc :p

I usually will record video's (game) with Fraps. Fraps will record the resolution of the game, so make sure the game setting are in 1920x1080 if you want to upload it at 1080p I will put the video file in movie maker and add my commentary. Sometimes I will add a title or captions.. or if I do some pictures in photoshop. (I have an old photoshop elements 6) After I'm done putting it all together I just publish through Windows Live Movie Maker. I select the 1920 x 1080 resolution, it signs me into Youtube and uploads. I can also put the title, description, and tags right before I publish it. This works well for me, and it keeps the videos in really good 1080p :)
