problems with MCNs

Hey folks, everyday I read about people's problems with MCNs (their network). and I wonder why aren't those networks do something to improve or resolve it. There are some big networks who are doing really well but others are (let's just not talk about it).

I mean there are thousands of networks, I guess, but only few of them are good. Most of them are doing nothing about YT creators. basically they are taking or should I say stealing money. can't we do anything to change or stop them? and what are the missing elements (service)? and why are they so bad?.....Just Curious:help: and Furious:mad::stomp:.

To date I haven't found anything an MCN could offer me, so I am still going solo :D When I have a semi-viral video I license that video out separately. That way they sort everything out concerning copyright and payments and still it has no effect on the rest of my channel.

What do you mean you haven't found anything useful from MCNs. What features or services you are looking for. I mean there are many features and services that help youtubers to grow their channel. I am talking about good MCNs of-course.

such as? :)

Such as.... Music library, better dashboard and most importantly brands deal and etc.
- Music library: You need to be careful, because when you leave the network you no longer have the rights to use the music and your videos will be violating copyrights.
- Dashboard: Haven't seen one of those, i use Tubebuddy.
- Brand deals: Do they really help you with that? Because I feel they just say so. I have had 2 so far on my own without any help from an MCN and I have 380 subs. For one of my single videos that is licensed out it has been on Fail Army and will appear on World's Funniest. When they only have one video of yours they put a lot more effort in!

Hey folks, everyday I read about people's problems with MCNs (their network). and I wonder why aren't those networks do something to improve or resolve it.

The simple answer is that they have no reason to improve or change anything. New channels are created ever second and far too many of people new to YouTube still blindly believe that joining a network is needed to succeed. Add the fact that recruitment letters are designed to make the user feel special and that the network will somehow get them millions of subscribers and money, and there is no shortage of people signing up- long before realizing that networks are rarely needed.
