Yep, the views disappear, I'm not sure if they reappear though if you make it public again.

Is that so? Well, that's nice at least. Hey, if you upload a video publicly, and then immediately make it private again, were your subscribers still notified and everything? And then if you make it public again, will it re-notify them?

They only get notified the first time.

privating or deleting a video will remove it from the view counter i can still remember the day it was implemented and the 1000's of threads freaking out were there views went. i think yourdailylaughs got it the worst on the the forum loosing 250mill views
