I kinda do too, it means people are going to my channel of their own volition and seeing what's new.

I have different segments. If a video is current news, those videos
will get most of their views in the first few days and then just a
trickle afterwards.
If it's a product review, or one of my funner segments, those will
have the usual spike in the first few days but there isn't usually
a dramatic drop.

Usually it's the first week. But lately I've been getting a steady amount of 20-60 views per day spread out on different vids...! That's why I recommend a channel trailer

Mine used to be like yours, 2 days and then nothing. But for the past couple months they seem to keep rising on throughout the next week or two.
