Premiere, Final Cut or Screenflow?

Screenflow is absolutely phenomenal for capture, but not so great for editing (though it may be fine for gaming / tutorial stuff, where you're never really going to need much in the way of effects).

FCPX is fast as hell, but you lose street cred for using it.

Premier is industry standard. And *sigh* I guess I'd better learn it :-(

Yea I study film and television, I'm quite decent with it. After Effects is a composition software, it is not used to edit things together. After Effects is used in conjunction with Premiere.[DOUBLEPOST=1371405421,1371405287][/DOUBLEPOST]

"Suppose to" i use it as what ever i see fit as it is a well rounded flexible program, what you said is like saying im suppose to eat cereal with milk ,so what. /:p

No, It's just the way it is. After Effects is for special effects and Premiere is for editing. Sure you can use After Effects for editing, but that's like using Microsoft Word for editing video, sure you can do it, but it's not the best. (You can't edit video with word, just an example)
 
I've never used the other ones, but I am LOVING final cut.

It's like making a spreadsheet as a table in word, rather than using Excel.
