Prank Camera/Camcorders

Does anyone know of a good quality camera for pranks? I want something easy to hold not too heavy and something small preferably with video that looks good and something discreet. Any ideas?

Mischief of course can gopros be used handheld easily enough and do they have a digital zoom? Do they all have that wide angle look like I have seen on so many videos using them? Cheers

they all have the wide angle look. i think with an app you can use a zoom feature i could be mistaken but they are very small. fits right in the palm of your hands. pretty easy to hide

I'll have a proper look into them I'm interested in knowing what the large prank channels tend to use. Zoom isnt necessary for what I am wanting but a discreet camera is. Does the footage turn out stable handheld?

Look for one of those pen cameras. I see other people have said GoPro which might work, but there are smaller ones.

I'm concerned about the quality if pen cameras are better than about ten years ago they could be worth looking into haha I remember terrible footage with them we camera like.

very stable, even with alot of shaking its pretty good

I'm pretty sure a lot of big prank channels just use a phone. It makes it easy to make it seem like your just using your phone rather than recording.
